On September 23, 2023, 15-year-old Lina vanished into thin air. The young girl disappeared on the road to Saint-Blaise-la-Roche, Bas-Rhin, on her way to the train station to join her boyfriend Tao, in Strasbourg. For the past five months, investigators have been exploring all possible leads in an attempt to find her whereabouts. A judicial investigation has been opened by the Strasbourg public prosecutor's office, for 'kidnapping and sequestration'.

He was questioned by police for hours

During the investigation, the police discovered that Lina had filed a complaint a year earlier. A sexual assault committed by two older men, when she was 13, which had been dismissed at the time. On February 16, 2024, Nouveau Detective interviewed one of the men in question.

'I didn't kidnap her, I had nothing to do with it'

The latter revealed that he had 'been questioned for four hours by the French gendarmes (police) in Strasbourg', in connection with Lina's disappearance. Speaking to the media, the young man in his twenties denied any involvement. He said:

I didn't kidnap Lina, I had nothing to do with it.

In the columns of Nouveau Detective, the young man even recounted what he had done on the day Lina disappeared:

I was with a mate that day, I have Snapshots to prove it, I showed everything to the investigators.

As for the second individual, accused of rape by the teenager, he explained that he had no further contact with him.

I don't know, and to tell you the truth, I don't care.

It seems they had a falling-out, but the quarrel is' not linked to Lina's accusations', he added.
