In a super mid-summer surprise for its fans, McDonald's has just announced another menu shake-up which will see the brand introducing many new items including a new take on one of the most popular menu items of the fast-food chain.

As reported by Mirror, here's what's new in store for fans, and the items fans will have to bid adieu to, for the rest of the summer.

McDonald's introduces six new items

McDonald's is calling its latest shake-up its 'Summer Menu Part 2.' The new items will be available from August 2 2023.

McDonald's is introducing a new burger called McCrispy Deluxe. It is made of chicken breast in a crispy, crunchy coating and topped with a hot and spicy mayo sauce, cheese and bacon.

Two new burgers are being introduced which are fresh versions of the classic Quarter Pounder. These are called the BBQ Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and the BBQ Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.

Among snacks and desserts, McDonald's is offering fans delicious new items such as Cheesy Garlic Bites and new McFlurry flavours: Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry and Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry.

McDonald's is letting go off some fan favourite menu items

McDonald's fans will sadly have to say good bye to the Biscoff McFlurry, which proved to be a resounding hit with fans when it was introduced just week ago. Unfortunately, this dessert will not longer be available for fans.

Along with this, McDonald's is also letting go of Spicy Sriracha Wrap and Double Big Mac. If you are a fan of these items, head to your nearest McDonald's to enjoy them before August 1st.

However, McDonald's will keep some menu items such as Caesar and Bacon wrap, Mozzarella Bites and the Double Chocolate pie, until September 5.
