Prince Archie’s low-key birthday celebration

Prince Archie is understood to have celebrated a ‘lowkey’ birthday as his grandfather was crowned the new King. According to MailOnline, Prince Archie had a ‘private celebration’ with his family and friends at their £11 million mansion in Montecito - which they got at a discounted price.

Reportedly, Meghan baked a lemon cake for the Prince’s 4th birthday using the fruits from their garden. The private party that Meghan hosted for her son Prince Archie was attended by many celebrities including Meghan’s close friend, make-up mogul Victoria Jackson and her mother Doria Ragland. A source claimed before Prince Archie’s birthday:

Some of their friends are celebrities, so yes, that’s likely [that celebs would attend the party]. It will be a small, intimate gathering.

Prince Harry’s dash back home in time

While Prince Harry came to the UK for his father’s coronation to show him support, he left soon after the ceremony. The Duke was determined to reach back home in time to spend some time with his son on his birthday. A source said:

He was always determined to get back in time to spend part of Archie’s birthday at home.

The father-of-two reached Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) at around 7.30pm local, that is, 3.30 am UK, confirmed The Mirror. The source added:

Harry was determined to be back in time to tuck Archie into bed.

Meanwhile, Meghan stayed back home to ‘minimise the drama.’ A source close to the family claimed it felt ‘inauthentic’ to her to be anywhere other than at home with Archie on his 4th birthday.
