The Bachelor UK is back on our screens for the first time since 2012. This time 17 ladies are battling it out to win the heart of Alex Marks, a 31-year-old personal trainer from Kent.

The first episode aired on Channel 5 on Monday 4th March and contained plenty of cringeworthy moments as the hopefuls met Alex - and each other! - for the first time. In a shock twist, the 17 hopefuls had to vote out two of their number before even getting to meet the Bachelor as 35-year-old pilates instructor Faran and 28-year-old surveyor Natasha were shown the door.
On Tuesday's episode, tensions escalated as some of the girls started exhibiting some seriously snakey behaviour. With the second rose ceremony drawing closer, Alex whisked belly dancer Claudia away for a one-to-one chat. Things seemed to be going great between them until Essex events coordinator Alicia decided she wasn't having any of it and swooped in to ask Alex if she could 'steal him away' before the ceremony.
Bowing out, Claudia went back to the rest of the girls who told her they'd be 'absolutely fuming' if they were her, urging her to go back in and steal him back.
Once Alicia returned, tensions quickly escalated between the ladies, as you can see in the video above...
