1. Free yourself from stress
It is scientifically proven that anxiety and stress on a daily basis alter the quality of the skin and cause premature ageing. The state of one’s morale plays a great deal on our bodies, especially during this stressful period we are all living through. Easier said than done, but being free of stress will prevent you from developing fine lines and wrinkles. Try meditation, go for long walks in the sun, breathe deeply and for a long time, go to bed early... and free your skin from stress.
2. Change your pillowcases
While it is essential to sleep at least 8 hours every night (when possible) in order to have beautiful skin, you can also limit the formation of wrinkles through a change in your bedding. Put aside your classic pillowcases and exchange them for mulberry silk pillowcases, which will change everything! The softness of the silk will allow the skin to be better hydrated and better contain the effects of your night cream, thus slowing down the appearance of wrinkles.
3. Stop smoking
We all know it, smoking is very bad for our health. However, the skin on your face can prematurely age due to the effects of smoking as well: the collagen naturally present in the skin disintegrates and the elastin in the epidermis loosens. Not to mention developing a grey complexion... In short, bad news all around. Stop smoking for these reasons and retain your youthful look!
