Who was Princess Diana's aunt, Mary Roche?

Mary Roche was the daughter of Maurice Roche, the 4th Baron Fermoy and his wife, Ruth Sylvia Gill. Mary's younger sister was the mother of Princess Diana, Frances Shand Kydd. Their father, Maurice, was a friend of King George VI while their mother, Ruth, was a confidante and lady-in-waiting to the Queen Mother.

Mary’s sister and Princess Diana's mother, Frances, died in 2004 at the age of 68 following a long illness. Prince Harry and Prince William attended their grandmother's funeral, with the latter giving a reading.

Will Prince Harry and Prince William reunite for her funeral?

There is speculation that Prince Harry and Prince William may be reunited at the funeral of their mother’s aunt, Mary. Hello! Magazine reports that while the funeral date is currently unknown, 'the Princes may want to say their final goodbyes'.

However, that Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have been evicted from their UK home, Frogmore Cottage, could make future visits to the UK difficult.

Furthermore, recent reports allege that Prince William may have played a hand in their eviction from the cottage, in a move described as some 'good old-fashioned revenge' for the many damaging revelations Prince Harry has made recently about Prince William, his wife Kate Middleton, and the Royal Family.

A source who is allegedly a friend of King Charles, Camilla, and the wider family, told The Daily Beast:

Charles is not making these decisions in isolation. He has the support of his son and heir and is working in partnership with him. They are a unit and are closer than ever.

In regards to Prince William's feelings about Harry and Meghan possibly attending the King's coronation in May, another source, an old friend of the brothers who is no longer in contact with Harry, told The Daily Beast:

William won’t shed a tear if Harry doesn’t make it. He feels utterly betrayed by Harry. Relations have never been this bad, and he hates him for what he has done to the family in the books and interviews. He will support whatever decision his dad makes but it’s no secret he would prefer it if he wasn’t there, or, indeed, never stepped foot in England again.
