As many know, Prince Harry is the creator of The Invictus Games and is very involved with the sporting event for war veterans. This year marks the 10-year anniversary since Prince Harry started the games.

Naturally, a big celebration is reportedly planned in London and St Paul’s Cathedral in May. Prince Harry rarely visits the UK since leaving the Firm in 2020 and doesn’t always make time for his family.

Now that his father has received a life-changing diagnosis, he may make more of an effort to repair his relationship. A relationship expert has commented on the chances of Harry seeing King Charles in May.

Will Prince Harry see King Charles in May?

Relationship expert Louella Alderson exclusively spoke with Mirror on the chances of Prince Harry making time to see his father when he visits the UK in May. According to Louella, Prince Harry not visiting King Charles would be a ‘big statement’ due to his recent diagnosis.

She explained that it would be a sign that their relationship is too damaged and is ‘beyond repair’. However, she does add that the celebrations could be the perfect opportunity for Prince Harry to have private conversations with His Majesty to slowly repair their relationship.

Louella Alderson told Mirror:

The anniversary celebrations at St Paul's Cathedral may provide a chance for Harry and his father to have further private conversations and work towards healing their relationship.

Adding:

It's likely that Harry and Charles will meet up, and if this does happen, it would likely be seen as a positive step towards repairing their relationship.

Nonetheless, she believes that it will take some time for King Charles and Prince Harry to repair their relationship and it won’t happen in just a few short visits.

The wounds are deep and it would likely take more time and effort for a true reconciliation to occur.

Will Prince Harry bring Archie and Lilibet to the UK in May?

The final question people may be wondering is whether or not Prince Harry will bring his two children, Archie and Lilibet to the UK when he visits in May.

The Duke of Sussex’s children have not set foot in the UK since the late Queen Elizabeth’s jubilee celebrations in June 2022. According to GB News, Prince Harry would like to bring his children to the UK to bond with their cousins.

An unnamed source revealed:

Harry wants to spend more time in the UK and bring the children over to be with [Charles] and their cousins, but he will have to prove himself first.

However, Meghan Markle is not keen on travelling to the UK and wants to ‘stay away’ as per the unnamed source. Indeed, Meghan has not been seen in the UK since Queen Elizabeth’s funeral in September 2022. She was invited to King Charles’ coronation in May 2023 but declined.

Neither Prince Harry nor Meghan Markle have confirmed whether or not the children will be travelling to the UK with their father.
