Spice Girls: Victoria Beckham to reunite with the girls for the last show

The Spice Girls are in talks to headline the final Glastonbury festival, and Victoria Beckham is on board.

The Spice Girls are all preparing for a world tour next year, which will culminate in a farewell performance at Glastonbury alongside Victoria Beckham. Mel C, Mel B, Emma Bunton, and Geri Horner held a meeting this week in London to discuss the event at length.

One last time

Sources close to them revealed that they feel their last performance should be on Glasto’s Pyramid Stage. Victoria Beckham is said to have shown interest in joining them if they can headline at Worthy Farm. A source close to them revealed:

Victoria has previously said that she would perform with them at the festival. So that would be the perfect way to round off the tour.
There have been bumps in the road, particularly where Geri is concerned, but the plan is still that the girls’ world tour will go ahead next year. The idea is that it will kick off in 2023, and finish at Glastonbury.

The girls are said to have ruled out performing in the Queen's glitzy Platinum Jubilee celebration in June of this year. This comes as the girls have busy schedules that could not be worked out. A source confirmed:

They are all working on different projects, and when they sat down to look at the logistics, they decided there was not enough time to make it work. They just would have not been able to squeeze in the rehearsal time they needed for the concert.

The girl band has had reunions over the years, which Victoria has skipped. The band's last tour was in 2019, when Mel's B and C, Emma, and Geri visited the UK and Ireland. Victoria was noticeably absent, citing a desire to spend more time with her family. In an interview with Vogue Germany, the former spice girl explained:

It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: 'You know, I'm not doing it because things feel different now than they used to.

While the girls claimed on their tour during 2019 that Victoria was present with them in spirit, she went on to say that her priorities have shifted over the years and added:

I'd rather concentrate on my family and my company. I'm 45 now and very happy to be the woman I am…
