Keeping Lilibet Diana a mystery
While they did eventually open up about Lilibet Diana, several royal experts had their own ideas about why her parents chose to keep her out of the limelight for the first few months of her life, including Neil Sean.
According to this royal expert, the decision to keep their daughter’s face out of the media was a deliberate move. He believes that the couple were waiting for the prime moment in order to have ‘maximum impact’, reports Express.co.uk. Sean said that:
If they put a picture on social media, a lot of people would be excited to see the child, they are all interested, but as time goes by, the interest decreases.
Putting the photo out in time for the holiday season was indeed a banging move, as that was all people could talk about for days.
But it should be also noted that one of the reasons why Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the royal family was to have some privacy.
In fact, since they left the United Kingdom, they have not released many photos of their eldest son Archie either. So ultimately, their move may not be as calculated as some would like to think.

Split with the royal family
When Archie was born in 2019, being a part of the royal family meant that he was immediately thrown into the spotlight. But Lilibet Diana did not have the same experiences as her brother.
Even her birth certificate looks completely different to that of Archie, given that Meghan Markle has opted out of using any royal titles on the document. She has only listed her full name, Rachel Meghan Markle, while Prince Harry identified himself as the Duke of Sussex.
