One couple, Lisa Rochow and Cameron Wheeler recently adopted an adorable Siberian Husky pup. The cute puppy, Aery, will be their only child! Both Lisa and Cameron have happily agreed to not have kids.
Rochow claims that having a child “would cost money, that would cost time, that would cost things that you want to do.”
Whereas Cameron says that he recognises how having child conflicts with climate change. He believes that it’s irresponsible to bring a child into the world considering the dire situation of our planet.
With this child-free perspective in mind, the couple felt that a puppy would complete their family unit! And this has become a popular choice for a variety of couples over the last few years.
