A shocking statement by the Ukrainian President

In the form of a video projected on the animated screen behind the stage, the Ukrainian President's speech gripped the Cannes Festival hall, but not only. Broadcast on French television, his speech moved many viewers.

The Ukrainian President began a speech on cinema in general, but also on the politics of his country. From Charlie Chaplin to Putin, the former actor made references to the 'seventh art':

We need a new Chaplin who will prove that cinema is not silent.

Speaking from Kyiv in a video message on Tuesday evening, Zelenskyy gave his opinion on the war in Ukraine and its possible outcome:

We will continue to fight, we have no other choice (...) I am convinced that the 'dictator' will lose.

What is the outcome of the war in Ukraine?

A Russian oligarch lets loose in a recording reportedly available to New Lines Magazine, saying that 'we all hope' Putin dies from his alleged cancer or an internal coup.

But these rumours about Putin have not yet been substantiated. Ukrainian cities are still being bombed and remain under siege by Putin's army. The war in Ukraine is raging, and the NATO membership applications of two European countries, Finland and Sweden, are now causing discord with the Russian government.
