All contestant parents are expected to join the show that will be aired on Sunday before the explosive finale on August 23. After Liberty ended her seven-week-long romance with Jake last night, the arrival of her parents would bring in a lot of twists and drama. Post Liberty’s exit, her mother implied that she is on her way to see her and said:

Seeing Lib so upset last night has broken my heart. I’m feeling her pain. She’s about to get the biggest cuddle of her life! I’m on my way.

Contestants should Watch Out

The show producers had kept this decision a mystery for a long time. Everyone was confused if the parents would get to meet their kids virtually or in person. However, a source has now confirmed that parents would be flying to Majorca:

The plan is to fly out the families to Spain if they’re double jabbed and happy to travel within the rules. Then there will be a socially distanced meeting – and there will be fireworks.

The parents’ days have been a fixture of the show for many years and it always brings out the drama. As the parents come with an outsider view of the show and tell their kids things that they do not know, it is the most awaited day of the series. A source told The Sun:

It’s always the most tense day of the series and Millie and Teddy’s parents will have seen a lot on TV that their kids don’t know about.
In fact, all of the friends and family will have outsider gossip to tell the cast, so a lot of them should be very nervous – Jake included.

The Finale

With the shocking exit of Liberty and Jake from the villa, the finale has taken quite a significant turn already. It left Faye Winter and Teddy Soares, Kaz Kamwi and Tyler Cruickshank, Millie Court and Liam Reardon, and Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran to compete for the £50,000 prize.

While it initially looked like Jake and Liberty could be the winners, it is not possible anymore. The main competition is now between the remaining favorite couples Liam Reardon and Millie Court and Toby Aromolaran and Chloe Burrows. However, Chloe’s parents might have something to say to Toby for his initial decision to dump Chloe and later regret it, which might have an impact on the course of the show or the relationship of the couples.
