Love Island's Scott reveals he wanted to know this girl a little bit more in the villa

Love Island has commenced its final week. The journey of love that started with 10 sexy singletons was joined by 22 bombshells over the course last 7 weeks - including 12 Casa Amor bombshells. There are only 5 couples left in the villa and a few days before the finale on July 31 reveals who gets crowned the winner of Summer Love Island 2023. The couples will go on their final dates and pick the least compatible couple.

The second edition of 2023 has been an eventful, drama-filled and entertaining journey for the Islanders and viewers.

Love Island's Scott reveals he wanted to get to know Leah

Love Islanders dumped Scott and Abi from the villa tonight after they were put in the bottom 3 by the public. Scott and Abi ended their back-and-forth situation by being 'friends.' While Scott didn't find love in the villa, he did think he should've gotten to know another Islander apart from Catherine.

In his exit interview Scott revealed that apart from Catherine, he wanted to get to know Leah a little bit more. On being asked if there were any other girls he wished to have connected with, Scott explained:

I think when I first came in, it was between Catherine and Leah. But I don't think I went about the Leah Situation the way I should've.

I think she held a grudge against me for the rest of her time in the villa. Maybe I could've gotten to know Leah a bit more than I did.

He also added:

I've enjoyed my experience thoroughly. I don't regret anything I've done. In hindsight, maybe I should've gotten to know Gabby better at Casa Amor but I stayed honest with myself and enjoyed every bit of it.

Love Island's Scott puts an end to Catherine's story

After Scott was dumped from the villa, fans were hoping to see him and Catherine get back together on the outside.Catherine and Elom are on a rocky boat right now, and Scott genuinely cared for her during the show. However, Scott has put an end to that narrative entirely. He insists he's not getting back with her.

He was asked about his situation with Catherine during Casa Amor and he shared:

I didn't think I told Catherine enough before Casa Amor about how I was feeling. At the same time, I stayed loyal when I had the opportunity to go elsewhere. It wasn't as if I went into Casa Amor and no one liked me - I spoke to Gabby a bit and chose to stay loyal to Catherine.

She didn't do the same but hopefully, it works out for her. Once the situation is put to bed for me, it's done and there's no going back.
