RUCHEE GURUNG

The 24-year-old beautician is the first Islander officially revealed by ITV for this summer series. Ruchee is a beautician and considers Love Island to be the ‘perfect opportunity’ for her to find someone, confirmed The Sun. She said:

I’m single and looking for love, and it’s the perfect opportunity for me to find someone.
I’m a relationship kind of girl, but so far it’s not worked out for me. So I’m looking forward to hopefully finding the right person in the Villa.

TYRIQUE HYDE

The second Islander who is off to find love in the villa is semi-professional footballer Tyrique Hyde. The 23-year-old Dartford midfielder has a famous dad - Micah Hyde. Micah is a one-time Premier League star who played for Watford in England's top division.

He told ITV:

I’ll bring vibes, confidence, good energy and honesty. I don’t sit on the fence, if I have an opinion I will speak up. I’m also not afraid to go after what I want.

MOLLY GRACE MARSH

Molly Marsh, 21, was also on the list of rumoured contestants in this summer series. The musical theatre performer’s mum is Janet Marsh - who is known for her TV work including shows like Coronation Street. Molly told ITV:

I think it’s ideal timing and the perfect way to find someone.
I don’t go out and party and I don’t use dating apps, I’m actually quite old-fashioned, so there’s no better way to meet someone than by going into a Villa in the sun with the potential ‘one’ in there.

GEORGE FENSOM

The 24-year-old business development executive from Bedford is ready to win girls over with his ‘dad jokes’ on the show. He told ITV:

I’m the first person to bring the vibe up, I’m always dancing, I’m always the one who wants to go out.
My go-to dance move is what I call the Dad Dance, I’m gonna bring dad jokes and dad dancing to the Villa.

CATHERINE AGBAJE

The 22-year-old is a Commercial Real Estate Agent from Dublin who wants to seal a ‘perfect deal’ in the villa. She told ITV:

I’m fun, I’m flirty, I’m just never boring. I can chat your ears off!

According to her, her friend would describe her as:

Someone who is fun and a loving character.
They know I have so much love to give. I’m always smiling, I’m always happy, I’m always laughing. You’ll always see me with a smile on my face.

MEHDI EDNO

The Communications manager from London and Bordeaux is ready to swoon girls over with her French ways. The 26-year-old believes he can impress the girls with his flair for languages.

Medhi, who may be the new Davide Sanclimenti, said:

I’d simply start by speaking French, that usually gets girls interested.
Looks are important but they aren’t everything, a good sense of humour and someone who is outgoing and up for an adventure is what I’m looking for.

ELLA THOMAS

The 23-year-old supermodel from Glasgow is heading towards the Mallorca villa this summer. The wifey material is looking for her hubby in the villa. A source confirmed:

Bosses have swayed towards more regular girl and boy next door hotties in recent years but casting Ella marks a step change.

Meanwhile, Ella said:

I’d let the boys know that I’m wifey material so don’t play with me!

MICHAEL TAYLOR

The Love Island villa is expected to have good plumbing this season as the 26-year-old Gas Engineer Michael makes his way to Mallorca. The unbelievably ripped hunk is ready to find love in the villa.

He insisted:

I thrive on being a gentleman. I’ll shower you with flowers, I’ll take you on dates, I’ll fill your bedside drawer with your favourite sweets and chocolate.
I’ve been single, I’ve had my fun and now I want to settle down.

JESS HARDING

The 22-year-old beautician from London is set to beautify the villa. Jess has a long list of icks that the boys in the villa need to take care of. She said:

When a guy stunts for money, that’s an ick. Showing off all their designer clothes because most of the time they’re probably fake anyway!
Another one is when a boy runs for the train and the train goes without him. Lunch Boxes also - just go to Tesco and get a meal deal!

ANDRE FURTADO

The 21-year-old was also one of the first rumoured contestants for the summer series. Andre is an economics graduate and owns a Fashion clothing line as well.

Before starting the series, he said:

I would say I fall too quickly to be honest. When I look at beautiful ladies, before I’ve said hello to them I’ve already fallen in love. I’m already planning the wedding.
