"For my entire life" – Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz Set for Hulu Face-Off?
Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz are reportedly gearing up to spill the beans in a Hulu docuseries, exploring his rise as a chef and the messy drama with his parents. Could their next move take them from family feuds to centre stage in the world of celebrity documentaries?
Brooklyn Beckham has never shied away from the spotlight, but things have heated up in recent months. On Instagram, he dropped a bombshell statement hinting at deep frustrations with his family and their tight grip on the public image. Now, with wife Nicola Peltz by his side, the pair are allegedly deep in discussions to launch their very own tell-all docuseries on Hulu.
Brooklyn, now 27 and living stateside, seems pretty invested in putting distance between himself and the rest of the Beckham clan. His six-page Instagram post from January this year didn’t mince words, suggesting a real desire for independence and honesty. In his own words:
"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family."
Rather than follow the family playbook, he’s reportedly eager to share both his culinary journey and the far less appetising story of his strained relationships. Hulu, the streaming giant known for The Kardashians and owned by Disney, looks set to become the stage for Brooklyn and Nicola’s big reveal – a platform miles away from the glossy Netflix projects of his parents.
Family Rift, Big Money – and Direct Competition with Netflix?
There’s more than just a tasty cooking segment on the menu. If the Hulu project goes ahead, Brooklyn and Nicola will end up direct rivals to Brooklyn’s parents, Victoria and David Beckham, both of whom have helmed their own headline-grabbing Netflix docs. According to a source quoted in The Sun:
"They'd be instantly propelled firmly into the big leagues and in direct competition with Netflix, which, of course, has its own Beckham ties having run authored documentaries by both of his parents."
Despite being offered juicy interview deals before, Brooklyn and Nicola have always refused – but this time it seems they're ready to take centre stage, unfiltered. As the same source put it:
"Brooklyn and Nicola have been offered big money interviews before but turned them all down. When they do decide to speak, it will be on their own terms. They also want to make it clear they are not being controlled by the Peltz family and that they make their own decisions."
Brooklyn missed Victoria’s Netflix docuseries and its London premiere in 2023, skipped David’s 50th birthday bash in May 2025, and even almost bumped into his dad twice by coincidence at a hotel. The gulf between father and son seems to widen publicly.
Brooklyn Speaks Out and Dines Out
Brooklyn’s candid six-page statement went further:
"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into."
He didn’t stop there, adding:
"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."
Now, as cameras potentially follow Brooklyn and Nicola into the kitchen and beyond, speculation swirls. Just last weekend, he was spotted dining at Sushi Park in West Hollywood with 29-year-old singer Cody Simpson, as if proving he’s more at home amongst LA’s new generation than at any glamorous Beckham family function. Nicola Peltz, daughter of billionaire Nelson Peltz, who offloaded a $1 billion share in his company back in 2024 after steering clear of its board, brings her own drama and independence into the mix. Both are determined to control their narrative, breaking free from old family expectations and the media’s grip. A Hulu deal would mean their story unfolds their way—warts and all—with the world watching, and maybe even challenging the glossy image projected by Brooklyn’s famous parents.
