Earlier this year, it was confirmed that Love Is Blind is coming to the UK and now the show has lined up their hosts in the form of husband and wife duo Matt and Emma Willis. The announcement arrived after reports that the couple who got married in 2008 and have three children together were in talks to front the dating show.

On Thursday, August 24, Netflix revealed the news and shared a video of the duo on set and wrote:

Introducing your hosts of Love Is Blind: UK… Welcome to the pods, Emma and Matt Willis!! Coming 2024.

It’s been more than a decade since former Big Brother presenter Emma Willis and Busted musician Matt Willis have fronted a TV programme together. And now they’re coming together to try and find hopeful singletons. A source said:

Emma and Matt caught the attention of show bosses following their documentary about Matt’s addiction battle – this was later boosted by Cooking With The Stars.
They were perfect for Love Is Blind UK, but still had competition from famous couples, including Marvin and Rochelle Humes.

The two hit a block when Matt was battling addiction but they have come out victorious from their journey and have now become the hosts of the show. Fellow famous Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey are the co-hosts of the US version of the series, frequently dishing out relationship advice to the couples whom they’ve met over the past three years.

What is Love Is Blind?

Love Is Blind lets singletons find love with each other ‘sight unseen,’ confirmed Metro.co.uk. The first stage of the experiment involves single men and women getting to know each other in pods. Interestingly, the men and women never get to see each other’s faces while having deep meaningful conversations.

At the end of their pods, a big decision comes for the couple who must decide whether they wish to spend the rest of their lives with each other or not. Several couples end up getting engaged even before coming face to face.
