They both have Covid-19

Ant and Dec have been doing almost everything together since they debuted in the 1980s, apart from the year Ant took off to work on himself.

The duo took to Twitter to announce they have Covid-19. The pair even joke about the amount of time they spend together:

We even get ill together!

Missing shows

Sadly, since Ant and Dec have caught the virus, they will be forced to sit out a few engagements they had planned.

The pair were set to host a magician special of Britain’s Got Talent as well as the National Television Awards 2022 (NTAs). The NTAs were postponed after the Queen’s death, as reported by the BBC.

Since the popular duo tested positive, they have been forced to pull out from both shows. According to The Economic Times,Joel Dommet will host the awards show. Their fellow TV host, Stephen Mulhern, will host the magician special of Britain’s Got Talent.
