Not just that, as per the report, even faecal matter and bacterias found in cockroaches have been detected on socks, which probably happens as a result of wearing them around everywhere all day.

Needless to say, by swapping out your socks before bed, you would be avoiding a whole host of potential infections in bed, and not spread them out to your family through your old socks.
