A heroic act
The video, filmed by the rescuer, shows a kitten stuck in the middle of an intersection almost getting hit by other cars. Distraught by the situation, the young woman shouts, ‘Oh my God! Stop!’ to the other vehicles. She can be seen waving her hands to alert the drivers.
After a few moments, she decides to leave her vehicle to help the poor animal. She rushes over to it and takes it to safety, giving it to a woman who witnessed the scene from the pavement. Taking the kitten in her arms, she says: ‘I don't know who it belongs to.’ The motorcyclist then parks and retrieves the kitten.
A red car the perpetrator of the abandonment?
If you look closely at the video, you will see that the kitten appears just after a red car passes by. Some people on the internet accused the owner of the car of throwing the cat out of the window. But the young woman wanted to clarify things:
The red car absolutely did not throw the kitten out of the window, I can assure you of that 100%. It's hard to see on the video, but you can clearly see it on my computer.
In view of the comments on social networks, she added:
Please don't organise a manhunt against them, because they didn't do anything.
She also thanked the ‘mystery woman’ who helped her and confirmed that the kitten is ‘a male and safe.'
Fortunately, there are people like this young woman!
