England's residents may be starting to wonder just how safe their home areas really are. A full list reveals which areas are thriving and which are once again, falling victim to coronavirus.

It's a very confusing time. While it has now been announced that people will have to wear masks in public stores, supermarkets and on public transport and some areas have gone back into lockdown, gyms and bars continue to open. So, the question on everyone's minds is 'is my area safe'. Well, a full list shows which areas of England are seeing a rise in coronavirus cases and which lucky places are witnessing a fall.

The freshly released data does not include information from the last week (20-23rd July) but the rolling 7-day data set shows the areas that have been suffering from a rapid rise in covid cases leading up to the 19th of July.

The rate is expressed as the number of new cases per 100,000 people.

Blackburn sees the highest rise with Darwen. In the last seven days coronavirus cases rose from 48.3 cases per 100,000 people to July 12th with the week leading up to the 19th seeing 79.9 cases per 100,000 with 119 new cases recorded.

Coming in second is Leicester who has actually seen an overall decline in cases 110.6 to 71.8 but has seen an overall 255 new cases.

Other areas witnessing an increase are Oadby (now at 68.4 and has recorded 39 new cases), Rochdale (47.3 with 104 new cases), Hyndburn (now at 38.4, with 31 new cases) and Sandwell who is up from 8.6 to 23.2 cases per 100,000 and have recorded 76 new cases.

What about the rest of England?

A list has been released of all coronavirus increases and decreases across the country from the 12th to the 19th of July. The list in in order of highest number of cases per 100,000 to the lowest:
