The Next Series Of Ex On The Beach Has Been Cancelled Following Mike Thalassitis' Death

In the light of Mike Thalassitis' tragic death last weekend, MTV have announced that the upcoming 10th season of Ex On The Beach - which Mike had already finished filming - will be cancelled.

Out of respect for the family and friends of the late Mike Thalassitis, the next series of MTV's Ex On The Beach will no longer air.

The show, which sees single reality stars sent to a tropical location to find love - only to be reunited with their exes - was set to star Mike, after he split from his most recent ex Megan McKenna back in August. Producers have now decided to shelve the whole show, despite the fact that all filming had been completed.

'It’s not a decision they have taken lightly as series like this do not come cheap,' a show source told The Sun, but bosses have 'agreed it would be insensitive to Mike's friends and family' to air the episodes.
