Now, as reported by Food&Wine, Uber Eats too has released its annual report and with it, published what it calls ‘a snapshot of the most popular, unusual, and unique delivery requests.’ The gamut of unique requests runs from people wanting to pay extra to get gravy delivered to a loved one to asking restaurant staff for a dinosaur drawing next to the delivered food.

Here are some of the funny requests from customers.

Some orders are cute while others just weird

A polite Uber Eats orderer wrote,

[W]ould you be so kind and put a disturbing amount of butter on my grilled cheese? Like, you’re going to need the Red Cross Emergency Rapid Response team on site and provide me with astronaut diapers — just in case.

Another adorable customer requested,

Please make it with love because I love you. And if anyone is good at drawing, can you draw a T. rex with sunglasses on the inside of the box? Or you could draw your favorite dinosaur on it.

One corn lover declared,

For me, I really like corn. A big lump with knobs, It has the juice (it has the juice). I can’t imagine a more beautiful thing (Woo).

Uber Eats have also presented some interesting data about food trends among customers UCG

Customer food trends

Uber Eats’ annual report also showed some customer food trends. Uber Eats orders for non-alcoholic beers, wines and spirits spiked 300% this year showing that indeed, an alcohol-free lifestyle is becoming more popular.

Again, data showed that Tiktok food trends directly affected demand for food and drinks on the app. In some more news, customer demand for ranch dressing seemed to be on the decline this year.
