Christmas is coming and Aldi has started to reveal its 2020 festive range. Included in the first lot of festive Special Buys going on sale on November 1st are a series of ‘twinkle trees–' light decorations shaped like cherry blossom trees. Available in white or multi-coloured, they’re a gorgeous alternative to the traditional Christmas tree.

The cherry blossom twinkle trees from Aldi stand at 1.5m tall and are fitted with LED lights and a 10m cable. They are priced at £22.99 each. There’s also a slightly more expensive version, the 1.8m Twinkle Twig Tree which is £2 more at £24.99 and comes in white or silver with 150 LED lights.

If you’re looking to splash out a bit more on your 2020 Christmas decorations, you might want to hold off until Aldi’s 1.8m Jewelled Willow Tree goes on sale. Whilst it’s much pricier than the Twinkle Trees at £79.99, it does look absolutely stunning as it drips with twinkling lights and can be used both indoors and out.

A stylish alternative to fir

Aldi’s Twinkle Trees could make a stylish alternative to the traditional fir Christmas tree–and come with the added bonus that you won’t have to hoover up the pine needles that have dropped all over the floor. Plus you’ll be able to use it year after year! Aldi also sell pine-scented decorations for just £2.49.

If you’re more of a traditionalist though, Aldi have still got you covered as their classic British Nordmann Fir Christmas Tree is set to go on sale closer to December for just £24.99. Aldi choose ten-year-old trees from Scotland for their Christmas tree range and pledge to plant four more trees for every one they cut down.
