Skin tags (also known as acrochordons) are neither painful nor dangerous. And yet, because they are not exactly nice to look at, most people could very happily do without them.
Home remedies to remove skin tags (acrochordons)
There is a very simple, natural way to get rid of skin tags. However, it's important to first ask your doctor before you try this for yourself to make sure it is, in fact, a skin tag!
Of course, there are also treatments you can get from the pharmacy for skin tags, but they cost a bit. So this home remedy is not only cheaper and is also made from a product that almost everyone has at home anyway.
How to get rid of skin tags
All you need is apple cider vinegar and a little cotton wool. Just dab a little apple cider vinegar on the growth with a cotton ball or swab two or three times a day for a week.
Why does this work? Because the apple cider vinegar dries out the skin and after a while, the skin tag will fall off by itself.
Apple cider vinegar has another positive property as well: it is an antiseptic which means it prevents inflammation and accelerates the healing process. And while we’re on the subject, if you want to get rid of your callus skin, there is (of course!) a home remedy for that too!
