The condition of our hands can be a warning sign of possible health problems we may have. The smallest of sensations like tingling or numbing feeling in the fingers or palms could be an indication of something much more serious.
Blood circulation issues
Do your hands often feel numb and weak? If so, this could be a sign that a nerve is pinched or a sign of cardiovascular disease.
Do your hands often feel tingly and unsettled? If so, your body may not have the proper nutrition (vitamins B1, B6, B12 or E). If you want to find out what your deficiency is then you should visit your doctor to take a test.
Do you oftentimes feel a tingly sensation that starts from your foot then rises to your hands? If so, this could be a sign of early diabetes.
If you normally handle heavy objects and feel pressure or a tingling sensation then this is because your hands are exhausted. The nerves in your hands are very sensitive and carrying heavy objects can add unwanted stress and pain.
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Do your hands oftentimes feel numb and tingly during the night? If so, this could be an early case of carpal tunnel syndrome because there isn't enough blood flow movement in your hands. If this happens then try shaking or stretching out your hands on a regular basis.
Are your fingers very sensitive, white, or even blue? If so, then this could be a sign of a rare condition called Buerger's disease which is caused by inflammation of the arteries, veins, and vessels. The main cause is due to high tobacco usage. Depending on the severity, it could lead to a severe infection or even gangrene and amputation of the limbs.
If you feel that you are affected by any of these, it's always best to consult with your doctor or a medical professional.
