Strictly Come Dancing pros clash for Zara McDermott and Bobby Brazier

Each year before the pairings are announced, Strictly’s early training begins with group routines so bosses can test different pairings and spot any sparks of chemistry. The cast for this year’s Strictly met earlier this month for the group routines.

According to The Sun, after early sessions and routines, all the pros are now clashing to get Zara McDermott or Bobby Brazier as their partners. A source revealed:

Zara and Bobby are absolutely the favourites.
All the dancers want to be paired with them because they both have serious potential on the dance floor.
There’s a battle going on between the pros as they all try to convince bosses to get the best pairing.
They know their airtime is largely dependent on how talented their celebrity pairing is, so everything is to play for at this stage.

Zara McDermott is a former Love Island star who now presents documentaries for BBC Three. Bobby Brazier is a 20-year-old budding actor who has established his name as Freddie Slater on EastEnders. He’s also the son of the late Big Brother star Jade Goody.
