Love Island bosses try to ensure the utmost safety for the crew and contestants of the show. However, what’s meant to happen still happens. In 2021, YouTuber Omer Majid tried to sneak into the villa to get a girl’s number. Love Island winner Davide Sanclimenti has revealed that a similar episode happened in 2022 as well but it was an unsuccessful attempt to steal from the set.

Love Island 2022 villa security breach
Love Island has changed a lot of villas over the years. This year’s Love Island - which already got fans furious after the coupling - is filmed in the same Spanish villa as last year. The Mallorca villa was reportedly subject to a security breach last year.
Davide Sanclimenti - who recently visited a hospital in Italy on his vacation - told The Sun:
The best villa secret was the night I entered the villa.

Someone was trying to sneak in to steal all of the equipment from the crew.
The Islander didn’t talk any further on the subject but just described it as the ‘best-kept villa secret.’

Love Island’s Davide Sanclimenti reacts to Summer Love Island 2023
In a new boohooMAN YouTube video, the 28-year-old also takes a look at this year’s contestants and gives his opinion on them. Starting with the girls he labelled Ruchee Gurung as ‘Not interesting at all.’ Moving on to Molly he called her a ‘green flag’ for not drinking and using dating apps. The King of 2022 series believes Ella Thomas wouldn’t be interesting. Davide then also revealed that he would like to couple up with ‘no one’ from this year’s Islanders.
Talking about the boys, Davide related to Tyrique on his ‘commitment issues’ as he said ‘I feel you, man.’ In a nutshell, he liked the guys better than the girls this year as he predicted Andre will be the centre of attention in the villa. While reacting to the Islanders this year, he also said:
Everyone wants to find love and then you go inside and realise it’s not like that.
