The Duke of Cambridge Prince William will be heading to New York next month to attend the Earthshot Prize innovation summit. However, Prince William will not be able to visit the Sussexes at their home in California.

The summit will take place in New York City in conjunction with the 775th session of the UN General Assembly and NYC Climate Week on September 21. Prince William will attend and speak to the crowd alongside Michael R. Bloomberg, the Special Envoy on Climate Ambition and Solutions for the UN Secretary-General.
The Sun reports it will take him more than six hours to fly from New York to the Sussexes’ house in California. This would make it challenging for the brothers to meet during Prince William’s short trip to the states. This would be his first public appearance in the US since his brother Prince Harry and Meghan Markle relocated to California in 2020.
The innovation summit
The Earthshot Prize innovation summit aims to drive the impact of systems-changing climate solutions. It also aims to amplify The Earthshot Prize’s motive to accelerate the progress of repairing our planet through collaborations and bold new innovations. Both Prince William and Kate Middleton will be present there. Bloomberg confirmed:
