As per Daily Mail, Meghan Markle has been estranged from her brother, Thomas Markle Jr for over a decade. However, Thomas Markle Jr seems to have gained an internet following by mocking his sister.
Indeed Meghan’s brother has recently been sharing videos on YouTube posing as Meghan and introducing himself as ‘Me-gain’. Here’s everything you need to know.
Meghan Markle’s brother mocks her on YouTube
As reported by Daily Mail, Thomas Markle Jr, 57, has been sharing mocking videos about his sister, Meghan. In his videos, Markle dons a black wig, stuffs a cushion up his shirt and wears a tiara, he then introduces himself as ‘Me-gain’.
Thomas Jr has suggested he will launch his own merchandise including glasses, mugs and T-shirts, as per Mirror. In one of his videos mocking Meghan, he talks about free speech and suggests to Meghan if she doesn’t like the video ‘don’t watch it’.
It's not just your freedom of speech, Meghan, it's everybody's freedom of speech.
He added:
I'm gonna be riding those coat-tails, baby - oh, yeah, if it wasn't for Meghan Markle I don't know what I'd be doing.
Thomas Markle Jr has been blasted
Former BBCroyal correspondent Jennie Bond has blasted Thomas Markle Jr for bullying Meghan and has said it was ‘the ultimate betrayal’. Jennie explained that it must feel so much worse that the bullying is coming from her ‘own flesh and blood’:
To have your own flesh and blood lead the assault must feel like the ultimate betrayal for Meghan.
Conservative MP and ex-tech and digital economy minister Damian Collins is urging media companies to do more to stop online bullying and harassment. He added that the companies have created ‘systems’ that allow conspiracy theories to ‘thrive’ and actually ‘promote’ the content.
The major social media companies must do more to combat harmful content on their platforms, including campaigns of harassment and intimidation.

So far, neither Meghan nor Prince Harry have commented on Thomas Markle Jr’s videos.
Thomas Markle Jr has a significant online following
As per Thomas Markle Jr’s YouTube account ‘THE REAL THOMAS MARKLE JR and friends’ he has 37.6K followers. So far, he has published 141 videos and currently has 2,578,402 views in total.
His account has been active since July 2020 and in his bio, he explains his channel creates ‘parodies, comments on, and expresses views and opinions’. He adds that all his videos are ‘intended for entertainment & comedic value’ and shouldn’t be ‘viewed or misinterpreted as inflammatory, derogatory, hateful, or factual’.
