In the short trailer of the interview, which has already been released in advance, Oprah raises the question of whether Meghan has been 'silenced.' Prince Harry replies that he does not want 'history to repeat itself.' Could this be a reference to his late mother Diana, who famously died in a strange traffic accident?

Royal expert thinks Harry's words are utterly ridiculous

Royal expert Robert Jobson thinks that what can be seen in the trailer is completely exaggerated sensationalism, as he notes to the Daily Mail. He makes it clear that the Queen is not a mafia boss like Don Corleone. And further:

Meghan has always been protected by a Scotland Yard team. Fortunately, she has never been in physical danger, and Harry knows that.

From this point of view, the talk of 'silencing' the 'insincere' Meghan seems completely ridiculous in his eyes.

A nervous palace and a pissed off Oprah

The mood in the palace before the publication is described as very nervous, and the Queen even had a private videochat with Harry. Apparently, Harry and Meghan had quite a lot to talk about. The interview, which was actually scheduled to last 90 minutes, has probably even been extended to two hours and will be broadcast next Sunday.

Oprah herself, however, is rather unhappy with Prince Harry at the moment - the reason being his appearance on James Corden's 'Late Late Show,' where he has already given a few reasons for his departure from the British royal family - which makes Harry's brother William extremely angry. Oprah is also said to have been unhappy that Harry just blurted out his secrets, which were supposed to be exclusive, on another show.
