Joe Wicks has announced he will once again be running his daily PE classes to keep little ones fit and healthy during lockdown.

Today the country has been plunged into yet another national lockdown. But, in order to help kids stay fit and healthy during their time inside, Joe Wicks has announced he will once again be running his famous virtual PE sessions.

The 35-year-old body coach has recently announced that he will be restarting PE with Joe, a virtual live fitness class aimed at keeping children active while the schools are closed.

Wicks started the programme during the first national lockdown which proved to super popular among both parents and children.

The star recently announced PE with Joe’s comeback on Instagram. ‘I've got some great news’ he said. Wicks continued:

I've decided I need to come back and be there for children during this time, through this lockdown when schools are closed to keep their exercise up, to keep their activities there, their energy, their mood, their mental health.

The classes will be running on Monday, Wednesday’s and Friday’s from 9am starting from the 11th of January.

The star has also urged his followers to let other parents and schools know about the lesson in order to get as many children as possible involved:

let your schools know so they can notify the parents ASAP and we can get as many young children taking part. This is so important for our children’s emotional and mental health

Joe’s classes have proven to be very successful

This year the personal trainer also managed to earn an MBE from the Queen after raising £580,000 for the NHS with his children’s exercise classes.

Later the star also went on to raise a further two million pounds for BBC’s Children in Need after running a 24-hour fitness class. One of Wick’s classes even made the Guinness Book of World Records after one of his fitness classes was watched by almost a million people.
