We’re now less than a week away from the launch of ITV2’s new dating show The Cabins – and the voice of the show has been revealed. As Ian Stirling has proven on Love Island, the voiceover on a reality TV show can be make or break – so it’s a good sign that The Cabins is set to be narrated by the hilarious Maisie Adam.

After the news was officially announced by her management, Maisie posted the ad for the show on her Insta, captioning it:

I CAN FINALLY SAY IT!!! Anyone who knows me knows how much I bloody LOVE a dating show, so I’m absolutely buzzing to be the voice in your ears for this brilliant show!

She teased:

It’s got all the sexiness of Love Island, the cuteness of First Dates, the intensity of Married At First Sight, the madness of Love Is Blind, and THE VOICE OF A SWEET NORTHERN ANGEL, what more do ya want?! (ps that ain’t my voice in the trailer, you’ll have to wait till the show to hear my dulcet tones).

Who is Maisie Adam?

26-year-old Maisie is a trained actress turned stand-up comedian who has appeared on a number of panel shows including 8 Out of 10 Cats, Mock The Week, Have I Got News For You, QI and Roast Battle.
