Faye Winter and Teddy Soares had one of the bumpiest rides in the villa. Despite some blazing rows after Casa Amor, they’ve patched things up and came third place behind winning couple Liam Reardon and Millie Court and runners-up Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromolaran. Now, they look set to be the first Love Island 2021 couple to move in together.
In their first post-villa interview, Faye revealed:
We have spoken about it and I think we will likely get a place together. But I will probably still spend two, three nights – depending on schedules at work – in Devon. Teddy will still have his own space, to be able to see friends, family but it will be our place and we will still spend time apart until we want to be with each other fully. I think that’s our next step.
Faye did seem a little uncertain about moving away from her beloved hometown of Devon. Luckily, it doesn’t sound like a problem, as Teddy said he’d be open to moving there too—or ‘anywhere in the UK that gets me closer to Faye.’ Aww!
Teddy and Faye
Teddy also gushed about his relationship with Faye in the interview, saying:
I’m the ice to her fire to be honest! Overall we have so much fun together, we take the p*** out of each other and we have our affectionate moments. We’ve got such a fine balance. Even the arguing, I think that’s healthy in every relationship. It’s just how you deal with it.
Not moving in with the other Islanders
So by the sounds of things, Faye and Teddy are snubbing their fellow Islanders’ plans to rent a girls’ house and a boys’ house in Essex. Millie and Liam previously revealed that they were planning to move in with their fellow Islanders for six months before taking the plunge and getting a place as a couple.
