Get Even: A New Series coming to Netflix is a Cross Between 'Elite' and '13 Reasons Why'

A new series called 'Get Even' is likely to become your new obsession if you're a fan of 'Elite' or '13 Reasons Why.'

The brand new series has been released on the BBC iPlayer and will be coming to Netflix July 31. If you weren't sure how to spend your summer, or at least your evenings, we've got it all figured out for you.

BBC's new series 'Get Even'

Created by screenwriter Holly Philipps for the BBC, Get Even is adapted from the book series Don't Get Mad by Gretchen McNeil. It was recently released on the BBC iPlayer.

The synopsis is simple: 'Four high school girls with a desire for revenge secretly unite to denounce the bullying at their prestigious school.'

The series focuses on friendships, injustice, and a lot of drama, but the theme revolves around the desire for justice. Topical issues about school life are explored, so you can see the resemblance between Elite and 13 Reasons Why!

The cast includes actresses Kim Adis, Bethany Antonia, Jessica Alexander, and Mia McKenna-Bruce, who play the group of four brave schoolgirls, who form DGM (Don't Get Mad). If these actresses' names don't ring a bell, this won't be the case for much longer. In any case, a suspenseful atmosphere is guaranteed.
