This might seem beyond crazy, but according to scientists from the psychology department at the University of Toronto, Miranda Giacomin and Nicholas Rule, the thing all narcissists have in common is… their eyebrows. To come to this conclusion, researchers asked a panel of volunteers to 'look at the faces of people who were all across the narcissistic spectrum'.

And the result: thicker eyebrows were identified in people who also have narcissistic psychological characteristics. And surprisingly, when participants were shown photos showing only their eyebrows, they could easily identify those who have these characteristics.

They concluded that narcissists tend to be people with thicker, darker and more distinctive eyebrows than the majority of people. According to the two researchers, people with narcissistic tendencies 'seek to maintain distinct eyebrows to facilitate others’ ability to notice, recognise, and remember them; thereby increasing their likeability and reinforcing their overly positive self-views.'
