If you look carefully at photos in which you can see Kate Middleton’s hands, you will notice that she very often has bandages on her fingers. Find out why below.
Is there something medically wrong with Kate Middleton?
As most people might assume, although Kate regularly has bandages on her hands, it’s not actually because she cuts herself often while cooking. As it turns out, according to the tabloids, she is actually hiding an eating disorder.
‘It’s very common for women who suffer from bulimia to have cuts on their fingers and hands because they’re inducing vomiting,’ as psychiatrist Dr Stuart Fischer explained, explaining that these marks could be ‘Russell’s signs’, which are typical of people who suffer from anorexia and bulimia.
Is this a recurring problem for princesses?
Kate has apparently been suffering from this problem since she married William in 2010 and before her, Diana was also said to be anorexic. Queen Rania of Jordan and Queen Letizia of Spain have also said to be suffering from serious eating disorders. Kate, who has been nicknamed the ‘weight-loss princess’ weighs no more than 101lbs despite being 5ft 7in tall. And it seems her friends and family are starting to worry about her…
Could these just be rumours or could there actually be something wrong with the Duchess’ health? Nobody knows…
