Love Island, the nation’s most-watched reality TV show, has just revealed its second casualty as it comes to light that Sherif Lanre has been booted from the show for breaking the rules. Check out the video to what the islander had to say!
Love Island has been back on our screens for just over a week but already we’ve come to witness the second villa casualty with the untimely departure of one contestant.
Sherif Lanre, the 20-year-old rugby player, has recently been cut from the cast for breaking an island rule which cannot yet be revealed, however statements released by Sherif have left us guessing what this “case of poor judgement” could possibly be.
A Love Island spokesperson has since confirmed, “After breaking the villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the Love Island villa”.
Many suspect that this could have something to do with photos circulating from a recent episode in which Sherif appeared to be chilling in bed on his phone. With many recognising this as the perfect position for social media stalking, it sparked concern that he was in communication with the outside.
On consulting the rules regarding forms of misconduct it appears that contestants are expected to refrain from touching themselves, as is it prohibited to flaunt their assets in front of their fellow isalnders while in the buff!
