Want to watch 'House of the Dragon' for free? It's now available on Youtube

House of the Dragon, the Games of Thrones spin-off premiered last month and fans can now watch the first episode on Youtube

ICYMI (in case you missed it), the much-anticipated Games of Thronesspin-off,House of the Dragonpremiered last month. The series is already a hit, racking in millions of views every Sunday for each fiery episode. Missing out on watching the series? About the series

House of the Dragonis set 200 years before any of the events in Game of Thrones, the series that was originally written by George R.R. Martin. In the new prequel, the plot line follows the rise of House Targaryen and their conquest of the Seven Kingdoms.

Where to watch for free: UK & US

To watch for free, UK viewers can visit the Sky TVYoutubechannel which currently has released the first episode, with no aforementioned plans to release any of the following. Be mindful that the series is age-restricted so you’ll have to log to a Youtube account to verify your age.

Otherwise, House of the Dragon airs on Sky TV in the UK every Sunday and is also available on the streaming service NOW, each platform suited for prime time HD viewing experience.

For those in US, fans can watch the first episode free on the HBO MAX Youtube channel in full HD video and catch newly released episodes on HBO and HBO MAX.

How to watch for free for the rest of the world

Unfortunately, for those outside the Queen’s England and the US, free streaming of House of the Dragons episodes is restricted to either US or UK regions.

All hope is not lost – there is another way to by-pass the system. Eager fans can use VPNs (Virtual Private Networks) to access content that is region restricted from anywhere in the world.
