I’m A Celeb South Africa’s latest episode showed that there was contraband in the camp. The celebs received a letter stating that none of the campmates would get dinner until all the contraband is confiscated. The letter read:

Discover our latest podcast

Celebrities, there’s contraband in camp. You’ll not get your dinner until you have surrendered all the contraband.

The celebs were then told that there was an ‘amnesty bowl’ in the Telegraph and all the items had to be submitted there. After the campmates exchanged a few glances here and there, Gillian confessed she smuggled things into the camp.

I’m A Celebrity fans furious with Gillian

Campmates were left in shock as Gillian confessed to having mints, teabags, salt and almonds. This isn’t the first time Gillian has smuggled things into the jungle. Back in 2010, the 63-year-old smuggled mints and teabags into the camp. Additionally, Myleene Klass and Paul Burrell - who could spill secrets - also confessed to getting salt and coffee in the camp.

Fatima Whitbread was more than furious with the revelation considering all the celebs already knew the rules of the jungle and yet tried to be ‘over smart’ in their effort to smuggle things. I’m A Celeb fans - who were shocked by Janice’s photo - also agreed with her. One wrote on Twitter:

Fatima is absolutely right, absolutely! Disappointed, the others didn’t cheat. Send Gillian home!!

Another three added:

With a show like this I understand where Fatima is coming from..I mean Mints? Really Gillian?
Fatima has a right to be angry. Why should the whole camp go without dinner, just because a few people want to be selfish arseholes over a few tea bags?
Little Ms contraband again! Teabags and salt and I wonder what else she stuffed in places of unmentionable #ImACeleb

While a fourth added that Gillian would have convinced others as well:

Fatima 100% on point, they knew the rules from their last time and still tried to get around them. It was really gillian who put them all in it, the others weren’t so blazen about taking things in camp #ImACeleb

Gillian McKeith branded an ‘awful’ person

I’m A Celeb fans who remembered Gillian’s original contraband from 2010 were even more furious as they branded her a ‘genuinely awful person.’ Expressing their anger on the I’m A Celeb South Africa campmate, they said:

Gillian McKeith seems like a genuinely awful person
Legit don't know why the rules don't apply to Gillian, AGAIN. #ImACeleb

After seeing how she joked about the contraband and took it lightly, one fan fumed:

Dunno why Gillian thinks it’s funny cause it’s really not #ImACeleb
