I’m a Celeb fans have already seen celebrities undergo their first Bushtucker trial. It would seem that one TV host already has their opinion of Boy George.

I’m a Celeb: Boy George branded as ‘obnoxious’ by TV host

I’m a Celeb kicked off on Sunday, with one celebrity already calling ‘I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here!’ Vanessa Feltz, who often appears on ITV’s This Morning had a lot to say about Boy George.

‘Obnoxious’ and ‘doesn’t give a damn’

Vanessa Feltz appeared on Monday morning’s run of This Morning where she discussed the first episode of I’m a Celeb with Holly Willoughby and Phil Schofield.

During the discussion, Feltz explained that the iconic 80s singer was like pop idol Madonna as he ‘doesn’t give a damn’ and is unlikely to help his fellow campmates.

Most of the time, the camp sets each person with a specific task, some have to get the firewood, some are in charge of washing up, and others are in charge of cleaning out the dunny (the toilet).

Feltz talked about how many of the campmates will help out to ‘people please’ but Boy George is unlikely to be one of those. Feltz said on This Morning:

I've done so much reality TV so I know how it works, you try and get on with everyone.
You want the people there to like you, the people at home to like you. If you don't do the washing up at home, you try and do it there, you muck in.

Finally adding:

Boy George is not that person. The only other person I've ever worked with who is similar to him in not giving a damn about what anyone thinks about him is Madonna. Who can be equally as obnoxious is Madonna

Boy George wants to ‘experience’ the camp

On last night’s show (Nov 7), the camp earned 8 stars for their meal. Mike Tindall and Charlene White took up the roles of camp chefs and prepared the meal for the others.

The two had prepared mushrooms for Boy George who is vegan. Once the meal was over, George sat and talked with radio DJ Chris Moyles complaining about the mushrooms not being cooked enough.

The food was horrible. Eugh. The mushrooms weren’t cooked enough.

He explained to Moyles that he didn’t want to step in as Tindall and White seemed set in their roles as they had already spent one night in camp more than the singer. He even also dubbed Loose Women star Charlene White as a ‘bossy boots’

I don't want to be told what to do by someone, quite a bossy boots.

Moyles then comforted Boy George saying that they will eventually fit in and find his role. However, it seems that George has other plans. He wants to have his ‘own experience’ and doesn’t want others to get in the way.

I have to have my own experience in this place. I'm not going to be told what to do
