I’m A Celeb Tony Bellew set to make £ 3 million

I’m A Celeb viewers loved Tony’s presence on the show - with his quirky remarks and love-hate friendship with Sam Thompson. Even after entering the jungle as a late entry, Tony was able to make a big space in viewers’ hearts and secure second position on the show.

Speaking about his popularity on the show, Jonathan said:

Tony Bellew is the revelation of this years I'm A Celebrity. Tony has become a national treasure with the world at his feet.
Brands and commercial opportunities across the board will be lining up for Tony’s signature.
I estimate he will earn three million pounds in the next 12 months and over 10 million pounds in the coming years.

The expert insisted that a ‘new wave’ of people had discovered Tony for the first time as there were many viewers who were unaware of his boxing achievements. He added:

People love discovering someone new and Tony has been the big discovery of this series for those not in the boxing world. We have loved Tony’s jungle journey.

This comes after Tony revealed on Good Morning Britain that he was convinced by his close friend Mike to be on the show and he had no personal interest in being on the show. He revealed:

Mike talked me round and said ‘go in there because no one really knows you.’
And I didn’t care if people knew me, I wasn’t that bothered, and I wasn’t sure if people were ever really gonna like me because the persona of me is just I’m a maniac who punches people in the face.
But the truth is I’m a normal person, I’m the exact same as every person watching now, the only difference is I used to punch people in the face for a living.
Well, that’s gone now. It’s been five years since I’ve done that and you’ve just seen me. So I guess people like me for me.
