Reality TV show amid divorce

Over the years, in numerous interviews, Stallone has always maintained that family is everything to him and had also declared that he had ‘an amazing wife’ in a post dedicated to her on their 25th marriage anniversary, according to the same news article by ET.

The action hero, who got married to Jennifer in 1997 after two failed marriages, has three daughters with the former model: Sistine, Scarlet and Sophia.

Interestingly, the entire family is currently shooting for their family-based upcoming reality TV show that is slated to release on Paramount +. With Stallone confirming the news to CNN, fans wonder what will happen to the impending release of their reality series.

He stated:

I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.

A decision on the fate of the show is yet to be announced both by the platform as well as the former celebrity couple’s respective representatives.

Trouble in paradise

Long before this news of them parting ways found its way to the international media, fans had speculated the now-confirmed trouble in their supposed paradise.

A report in the Daily Mail, revealing that tension was brewing between the two, about Stallone covering up the tattoo of his wife on his bicep. The former model’s face was replaced with the photo of a dog: Stallone's furry co-star from Rocky, bullmastiff Butkus. The new tat almost immediately caught everyone’s attention, with fans speculating if they were facing marital problems.

The actor’s representative told the Daily Mail that everything was fine between the couple and stated that the Hollywood star wanted to ‘refresh the image of his wife’ but the results were ‘unsatisfactory and, unfortunately, unfixable’ and so, he had to go with the picture of a dog.

"Mr. Stallone loves his family. The Stallones are presently filming a reality show together which will debut on Paramount+,” read the statement at the time.

A contentious divorce in the making?

In other news, Jennifer Flavin has asked to stay in their 35 million USD home and also accused the actor in her court filings of hiding marital assets, as reported by ET, and that he should be forbidden from ‘selling, transferring, assigning, encumbering, or dissipating any assets during the pendency of proceedings’.

‘The marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken,’ a part of the divorce papers read, as stated by ET in their report.

Jennifer Flavin is yet to make an official statement on the divorce proceedings.
