"People don’t know I’ve met Harvey": Is Lee Andrews Telling the Truth about Katie Price's Kids?
Katie Price’s whirlwind romance with Lee Andrews has the whole country talking, but her family's not exactly rolling out the welcome mat. Her new husband claims to have bonded with her oldest children, but both her relatives and close insiders are branding his story as fantasy. What’s really going on behind closed doors?
When Katie Price stunned fans by marrying Lee Andrews in January after just ten days, even seasoned showbiz watchers were left blinking. Now, intricate tales spun by Lee – from secret meetings with Katie’s kids to eye-popping property deals – are putting the whole relationship under the spotlight. The situation has turned so tense that Katie’s family are reportedly preparing to challenge Lee face-to-face when he next sets foot in the UK. Can anyone keep up with this drama?
Secret Meetings and Shaky Claims: What Lee Says—and What the Family Denies
Lee Andrews, a businessman based in Dubai, insists he’s had private moments with three of Katie’s older children. As he puts it in a voice note:
“People don’t know I’ve met Harvey and two of the kids. I haven’t seen the young ones.”
But his claims are being rejected flat out by a representative for Katie and by a source close to Junior and Princess – her children with Peter Andre – who both confirm they've never met Lee in person. Another Lee quote:
“I’ve been back and forth, I just don’t f**king tell anyone. I lead a very private life. I tell people what they want to hear, the rest they can make up, you know,” only fuels the confusion.
Who’s telling the truth? If Lee’s right, he’s managed the feat of meeting the kids without alerting their inner circle.
Legal Woes, Lavish Promises, and Family Pushback
It doesn’t end there. Lee boasts about paying cash for a £36 million house in Dubai and having a PhD from Cambridge—claims that haven’t stood up to scrutiny, with the university saying no such degree was awarded and Lee admitting mistakes on his LinkedIn to a former assistant. He supposedly holds high-powered titles (even on the Board of Advisors for the Labour Party, and as Director of Philanthropy at The King’s Trust), which have also proven to be fabrications. He even claimed to have met Kim Kardashian, a point her team outright denied. And Lee spent three weeks in jail last year for ‘obtaining funds by deception’ and is rumoured to be facing a travel ban in Dubai, which he strongly denies.
All this has left Katie’s relatives on edge. Her mum and sister are said to be bracing for a confrontation if Lee does move to Britain in May as he claims. According to a family insider, they’re “worried he could have bad intentions” and want to protect Katie. Even Katie appears uncertain, having posted and quickly deleted a YouTube video saying:
“I don’t know why people think I’m moving. My family’s here. The husband is there, but the husband [can] come here and I can go to Dubai.”
On her podcast, she hinted at how easily a travel ban can be imposed in Dubai:
“you can get a travel ban over anything in Dubai – a parking ticket, or if you owe a bill for electricity or something.”
Is the Public Losing Faith in Lee’s Story?
Contradictions around Lee’s background and intentions keep piling up. Each extravagant claim – about luxury homes, academic laurels, or celebrity connections – falls apart under investigation. The public and press are starting to doubt whether Lee’s version is more smoke than fire. Meanwhile, Katie’s family is increasingly vocal about shielding her from further heartbreak. With both sides entrenched, the next chapter might bring a showdown or unexpected twists. Is the truth lost in the relentless back-and-forth?
