Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu opens up about her split from Davide as she refuses to do Love Island again

Davide Sanclimenti took Love Island fandom by storm in June this year when he announced his split from Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu. The two were spotted together at a movie premiere two daysbefore their split announcement and hence, the split left fans baffled.

Many blamed Davide and his post-villa shenanigans behind it. However, it appears that Ekin-Su and Davide’s cause of the split was ‘rushing’ into things.

Love Island’s Ekin-Su reveals her relationship ‘mistakes’

During a recent appearance at her Bperfect summer launch event, Ekin-Su hinted that being in the limelight damaged their relationship a lot - a similar complaint that former winners Liam Reardon and Millie Court previously addressed.

Hinting that rushing into things made their situation worse, the 28-year-old Turkish actress revealed she’d do things differently the next time she falls in love. When asked what advice she'd give to the new couples, she told MailOnline:

If you're in a relationship coming out of the villa you need to realise you’re in a relationship.

You need to realise there is a lot of eyes on you and live it privately, have your own space and trust your partner, communicate with your partner. Don’t rush to live with them straight away.

Ekin-Su and Davide were the first ones to move in together after the show in August 2022. So, she added:

You need to get to know each other, like, in the villa you know each other but you don’t know each other really.

Really get to know each other and then when the time is right move in together and enjoy every moment because it is a great experience and sometimes relationships last forever and you get married and have kids and love island is a great platform.

Davide has also previously expressed his wish to ‘take things slow’ if given a chance again.

This comes after the winner earlier revealed she had lost many friends after her stint on Love Island. However, despite being single again, Ekin-Su has refused to be a part of Love Island again or the new All-Stars edition.

Ekin-Su said:

No, I’m not doing that no. To me, Love Island is a one-time thing and I’ve done that. To me. I’ve had my experience and I loved it and that’s it for me.
