Love Island star Catherine Agbaje had one of the worst welcomes after exiting the villa. Her journey in the villa had a lot of ups and downs and after she returned from Casa Amor with Elom Ahlijah-Wilson - it started going downhill.

Initially, Catherine had thought her decision to leave Scott Van-Der Sluis was wise but she eventually realised her mistake as Elom spoke about getting to know other people and more definitely, after her exit from the villa.

Love Island’s Catherine Agbaje received death threats

Catherine’s reaction toward Scott after coming from Casa Amor transformed her into a villain on the show. Many Love Island fans were devastated by her actions and chose the most ‘horrible’ ways to express their emotions.

According to OK! Magazine, Catherine’s aftermath of the villa was filled with panic attacks and death threats. Speaking on The SHiiKANE Pod, the 25-year-old revealed:

It was hard. Even talking about it makes me upset. I didn’t eat for about three or four days, I was so weak.

I had panic attacks. I had so much stuff. I received death threats, it was horrible.

The real estate agent shared that even staying away from social media didn’t help her as trolls reached out to her family to get through to her. She added:

It was very hard for me but now I’m good.

When you come out and you know what’s actually gone on and see how it’s been twisted and turned and now as a result people hate you and want to see you die. It was very difficult.

Catherine Agbaje and Scott Van Der Sluis - a rekindled romance?

This comes after the Love Island reunion saw Catherine and Scott cosy up to each other yet again. The two sat next to each other during the reunion and appeared seemingly ‘blushing’ when asked about a rekindled romance.

The two admitted to being on ‘good terms.’ However, eagled-eye fans were quick to notice that their facial expression screamed they’ve rekindled their romance.
