Summer Love Island Catherine seen by paramedics on day 1, here’s why

According to The Sun, Love Island bosses stopped filming hours after the stars entered the villa. Catherine Abgaje - who was recently picked by bombshell Zach - became unwell while shooting on the first day.

The incident took place before show host Maya Jama was about to introduce the first bombshell of the series. An Insider revealed:

Catherine started to feel ill during filming and she was seen by the villa’s medical team.
Her welfare was the priority and filming with the other islanders and Maya was stopped until she was feeling better.

They added:

It seemed the heat, nerves and not eating enough was the cause of her turn and she returned to filming not long after.

Before joking:

Either that or the shock of being paired with Andre Furtado was a little too much to handle.
