Céline Dion gives an update on her state of health

In an interview with the French edition of Vogue magazine, Céline Dion gave an update on her state of health. The singer, who is learning to live with the disease, said:

It's going well, but it's a lot of work. It's one day at a time.

In her battle, the 56-year-old artist can count on the support of her family, and more specifically her children René-Charles, Eddy and Nelson, with whom she recently appeared on social networks to mark International Stiff Person Syndrome Awareness Day.

On 25 June 2024, Céline Dion will be making her screen comeback in the much-anticipated documentary JE SUIS: CELINE DION (I am: Céline Dion), which will be available on Prime Video. But it remains to be seen whether the star will also make a comeback behind the microphone.

Will Céline Dion return to the stage?

Although she wants to, Céline Dion doesn't know if she'll be able to return to the stage. She told Vogue:

I can't answer that. Because for four years, I've said to myself that I won't go back, that I'm ready, that I'm not ready... Today, I can't say to you: 'Yes, in four months'. I don't know... My body will tell me.

For all that, the singer is desperate to get back to her fans.

But I don't just want to wait. It's morally hard to live from day to day. It's hard, I work very hard and tomorrow will be even harder. Tomorrow is another day. But there's one thing that will never stop, and that's wanting. It's the passion. It's the dream. It's the determination.
