Shazza first met Ozzy Osbourne in the seventies, when her father, Don Arden, was the manager of his band, Black Sabbath. The couple got married in the early eighties, and Sharon stood by Ozzy's side as he battled drug and alcohol addictions.

Shazza explained how difficult it has been for them both

In a brand new interview from her Los Angeles home, Shazza has given an update on Ozzy's health condition.

Ozzy’s Achilles’ heel has always been his lungs, so to get something like Covid that affects your breathing and all of that, it was just torturous.

She has also expressed how difficult it has been to watch her husband suffer.

It has been very difficult. Ozzy has been plagued medically by different things that have been wrong. It is like one thing leads to another then another.
For some reason he is tested all the time. I think, ‘No more, please God. He has passed all the tests, he has survived — please leave him alone’

Ozzy suffers from Parkinson's disease

In February 2023, Ozzy Osbourne, who suffers from Parkinson's disease, announced he had to cancel his UK and European tours to focus on getting better. The Black Sabbath icon suffered a great deal of health issues in 2019, when he had a spinal injury after falling in his home, and was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease that same year. The fall from 2019 aggravated long-term injuries he suffered from when he broke his neck in a quad bike accident, sixteen year ealier.

Because of his illness, Ozzy Osbourne has to stay home, which Sharon says is sometimes driving her crazy.

This is the longest time Ozzy has ever been at home. He is driving me crazy, every f***ing day.

Shazza also said her husband misses his fans terribly, as performing is his biggest 'love affair'.

I get heart-broken when I hear him say that and knowing he cannot go out and do what he is meant to do. But he will get there.

Sharon not only manages her husband's recovery, she is also in charge of relocating the couple in the UK, as she says:

I miss the lifestyle, I miss the food, I miss the seasons.

The Osbournes said they are leaving the US after having lived there for 20 years to go back to Blighty, in the house they bought in Buckinghamshire in 1993.
