Disney Just Released A Brand New Trailer For Frozen 2 - And It's A Whole New World

Frozen 2 is quite possibly the most anticipated animated movie in history. The film will reunite Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven - as well as introducing an intriguing new character voiced by Evan Rachel Wood.

Back in February, Disney fans were sent into overdrive by the first official trailer for the film, which showed Elsa and co heading off on an adventure 'far away from the kingdom of Arendelle'.

Now we've got a brand new trailer which gives a better idea of what the next instalment will be about - although it opens up just as many questions as it answers.

The trailer opens with Elsa underwater, swimming to the surface where she encounters a mysterious ghostly horse. Unlike the previous trailer, the trolls feature heavily in this one, with narration from Ciaran Hinds' Troll King telling Elsa that 'the past is not what it seems'.

He also warns: 'You must find the truth. Go North, across the enchanted lands and into the unknown. But be careful. We have always feared Elsa's powers were too much for this world. Now we must hope they are enough.'

Meanwhile, we're still none the wiser as to whether Disney will make history by making Elsa the first lesbian Disney princess, as many fans are hoping with the #GiveElsaAGirlfriend campaign. There are no potential suitors to be seen in this latest trailer, but it certainly hasn't been ruled out.

Last year, co-producer and co-director Jennifer Lee said: 'It means the world to us that we're part of these conversations. Where we're going with it, we have tons of conversations about it, and we're really conscientious about these things.

Elsa's every day telling me where she needs to go, and she'll continue to tell us. I always write from character-out, and where Elsa is and what Elsa's doing in her life, she's telling me every day. We'll see where we go.'
