The good reviews

Despite leaving the Royal Family in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan still have fans and people that enjoy following their lives.

Among the positive comments, people were praising the pair for sharing their story and protecting their family. Others expressed anticipation at being able to hear their version of events.

On Instagram, some users commented saying:

Look what happened to his mom. Can you blame him for protecting his wife and kids?
I honestly wish them the best and I most probably do think watever they said or she went thru was probably accurate, I can't wait to watch it I really do love them together, rooting for them!

Others also expressed their delight on Twitter, writing,

This is awesome
OMG I can't wait. Archetypes has finished this series will fill the gap till Harry's book comes out, bring it on, glass of wine will be chilled and ready to go!

The bad reviews

It was to be expected that not everyone would be happy about the couple going through with their series. Indeed many Royal Family fans believe the couple deliberately released the trailer on the same day as when Prince William and Kate are in Boston.

Some users wrote on Instagram:

Total coincidence to release this while the Prince and Princess of Wales are in Boston.

Others have also expressed that the couple always asks for privacy but then go on and write a book, create a podcast and also release a series about their life.

I hope you don't talk about the prince and princess of Wales, because there will be the same problem there as always. If they talked ONLY about their life, it's ok. but they throw their family under the bus

Others took to Twitter saying:

How many times are we going to hear their story? I've heard nothing but their story for 2 years at this point.
Why adding the Royal Family in their mess? Yes, because without the Royal Family they are nothing.

The exact date the documentary will air on Netflix remains unknown but it is expected to release in the beginning of 2023.
